Finishing processes are widely applied to fabrics, especially upholstery fabrics, in order to grant them additional features after they are woven. Solutions used for these finishing processes are generally obtained by mixing chemicals and water

The fabric is soaked in these solutions which adds about 70% to the fabric’s weight.

Then, by administering high heat this extra water is removed from the fabric.

In this conventional method, a lot of clean water and also a lot of energy while removing this extra water is spent. With the new patented technology developed by the Kets R&D team, the chemicals are applied to the fabric surface by passing through the new special production process that doesn’t need any water usage. In this way, a significant amount of saving in water, energy, and chemicals is achieved.
